Habits of Mind and the Fountains Curriculum
At Fountains High School, our curriculum is rooted in the values of Kind Hearts (Relatedness), Wise Minds (Competence), and Brave Souls (Autonomy), aligned with Self-Determination Theory. The 16 Habits of Mind, developed by Costa and Kallick, offer a powerful framework to deepen these values and support students in becoming thoughtful, resilient, and independent learners.
Kind Hearts (Relatedness)
