School Uniform
Our school uniform helps everyone feel part of the community and ready to learn. It keeps things simple each morning and helps pupils feel comfortable and confident at school. We ask students to wear their uniform with pride as part of belonging to our school.
No items of jewellery should be worn e.g. earrings, chains, rings etc.
Please ensure all children bring a named water bottle into school. This can be kept in school to refill on a daily basis.

School uniform
- White polo shirt, blouse or shirt.
- Royal blue sweatshirt.
- Dark grey trousers or skirt, white, grey or black socks or tights.
- A royal blue and white checked school dress or shorts may be worn in the summer term.
- If your child wears Salwar Kameez or hijab, please ensure that this is school colours.
- Wellies (these are compulsory)
PE & GAMES KIT
- PE Kit: t-shirt, black shorts and trainers / Dark coloured outdoor tracksuit and trainers.
- It is very important that children are appropriately and comfortably dressed for their activities.
Free Second-Hand School Uniform
At Fountains High School, we are committed to supporting our families and ensuring that every pupil has access to the clothing they need to fully participate in school life. We maintain a stock of good-quality second-hand school uniform, which is available free of charge to Fountains High School families.
If you require any uniform items, please contact the school office, who will be happy to discuss availability and support you in a confidential and sensitive manner.
In addition, our second-hand uniform is available at all school Open Evenings, providing an opportunity for families and prospective pupils to view and access available items.
