Operation Encompass
Fountains High School is proud to be part of Operation Encompass, a national initiative that supports the safeguarding and wellbeing of children and young people. Through this partnership, Staffordshire Police share relevant information with our trained Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) when they have attended incidents of domestic abuse where a child has been present, lives at the address, or is otherwise affected.
This early communication enables our staff to provide timely, sensitive support for students who may be experiencing trauma or emotional distress. At Fountains High School, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do, and our involvement in Operation Encompass strengthens our ability to keep pupils safe, listened to, and supported.
If you would like more information about Operation Encompass, please contact our safeguarding team.
